The Homesick Texan has done it again! I’m getting some salt pork and pintos and making up a huge pot for the weekend.
Some great bean ideas over there. I’ve got a half-written post on pinto beans that has a few different takes on preparation. It’s only half-written because I can’t find my “History of Food” book which has some historical gems about beans and peas.
I can’t figure out how that book got misplaced because none of my children have visited since I last looked at it.
