JB Weld To The Rescue

There are certain things that nobody should be without. Duct-tape. It can protect a broken window, serve as a stunning prom dress, and even mend ducts. An absolute must have. WD-40. It lubes, it removes rust and stains, and stops squeaks. Teflon tape. Any water leak that involves threads can usually be solved with a penny’s worth of this stuff. A sharp knife. And a pair of tubes of JB Weld. JB Weld can fix anything from a cracked engine block to the rusted out leg of an ancient piece of patio furniture that should have been thrown out decades ago. I’d rather not say what rescue act JB Weld performed on this 4th of July weekend. Can we just leave it at “spectacular stupidity”? What has JB done for you?

JB Weld held a rusted, corroded drain pipe together for about a year. You see my husband is a retired pipefitter (as well as a retired air traffic controller), and his brother and nephews are plumbers. So, of course there was no way we could have actually replaced the 50 year old drain with a new one.
