Legal Immigration

This is Dayan Viciedo. He’s 19 years old and hails from Cuba’s Villa Clara province. He left with his family on a boat from Cuba on May 20th. A few days later, he made it to Mexico. He then traveled to Miami to reunite with friends and family and declare that he was defecting to the United States. Viciedo has already reached a deal to be represented by agent Jaime Torres of Puerto Rico, who could not be reached for comment. You see, Viciedo has been in the Cuban baseball majors since he was 15 and is considered a top third baseman.

This is not illegal immigration. This is baseball. There’s a difference, dammit.
