Bluegrass Abomination

A little while back I posted a Youtube link to a celebrity tribute performance of the classic Earl Scruggs tune, Foggy Mountain Breakdown. Even though FMB has been done to death, this was actually a rather enjoyable performance. Well, a few months ago I got a copy of another bluegrass performance in my email box. And it showed up again this morning.

Registered To Vote?

Some of you may have noticed that there is a major election coming up in the United States in just a few weeks. Yes, I am a registered voter and plan to vote in this election, as I do in every election. I’m one of those people who believe that if you don’t vote, you can’t complain about your goverment. Well you can, but I digress. This will be my only post on the election (I can hear the great sound of thunderous applause).

Politics sucks in America. And I mean in a MAJOR way. Democrats, Republicans? There’s not a gnat’s fart worth of difference between the two. Both parties are filled with pandering, sleazebag, disconnected, money-grubbing, blow hard idiots. Government is out of control, freedom is being trampled, the nanny state is growing, and it seems as though everyone in government is embroiled in either a sex scandal or bribery investigation. An elected government job seems to have become a free pass to become a blithering idiot. Are you registered to vote? Vote in the coming election. Throw the bums out and keep on throwing the bums out until you get the government that you want. Right now, you’ve got the government that you deserve…
