For the record, I’m not really thrilled about the Catholic view of life and the world and I’m at about the same level regarding the Democratic party (or the Repub’s, for that matter. But… How can a presumably catholic institution of learning (Notre Dame) justify inviting a President of the United States (Obama) to give a commencement address when that President is a vocal supporter of abortion? Perhaps Newt Gingrich, a recent convert to the church of Rome, has this one right? Or maybe it’s just that Notre Dame has sucked massively in most of its sporting endeavors and revenue is down… so they need to raise their profile a bit…
