Snails On A Pane

As is typical for a Houston summer, we’ve been having something like daily thunderstorms. The ground is saturated, the humidity is astronomical, and it’s hard to actually get the grass cut for fear that the lawnmower will sink into the mud or that one might get struck by lightning. With all the moisture in the air, a home’s air conditioning causes lot’s of condensation on the windows, especially in the mornings. Think along the lines of taking an ice cold glass of lemonade outside when it’s hot and muggy. For some reason, an army of snails has decided to create all kinds of weird patterns in the condensation on my windows every morning. This causes no end of frustration to my cat. I’d take a picture of it, but my admittedly ancient digital camera has no idea what to focus upon and there is no manual override.
